Her father Walter Martin moved to California in 1936 to work for a shipping company. Hueu come from her grandmother Mele Hueu Kalua. Mele's parents were Maele Kalua and Kaina na Hoapili.
Sandra's mother was Lani Aiona. Her maternal grandparents were henry Aiona and Leilani Kaina. Leilani's parents were Kainoa Kaina and Beke Pa.
Sandra's father is from the big island and her mother was born on Oahu.

I heard they dropped the Po'o for reasons unknown. Would appreciate some feedback, if any. Planning a trip to Maui in late September early October.
